College Fairs
Attend high school college fairs and events in your area, and make a difference in the following ways:
  • Visit with interested students and parents
  • Provide information and resources to the students
  • Share your experiences of the University of Arkansas
  • Encourage students to visit the campus
Adopt-a-School (out-of-state only)
Visit with high school students and counselors:
  • Contact high school to schedule an appointment with the guidance couselor
  • Take provided materials for counselor to display
  • Schedule time to speak to a junior or senior English class or table during lunch
Phone Contacts
Make congratulatory telephone calls to newly admitted students and those receiving scholarships in your area. Let them know what the UA means to you and how proud you are in their decision to apply.
Award Ceremonies
Present UA scholarships to seniors at local award ceremonies. You will represent the UA to the entire school, showing future students your interest in them and the University.
Events for Students
Host a party for students in your area before they leave for the University of Arkansas. This unique opportunity allows you to experience the results of your efforts.
Chapter Recruiting Committee
Get involved with the local chapter and serve in a leadership role. Check to see if there is a chapter in your local area.
