The Arkansas Alumni Association connects and serves the University of Arkansas family. Just as with individuals, the Arkansas Alumni Association has a unique personality, which can positively affect the way we accomplish our goals. The Association's personality is progressive, people-and service-oriented, reliable, active, friendly and supportive. By themselves, these are words without meaning. That’s where you come in.
Through your creative expression and the tools provided, you can convey the Arkansas Alumni Association personality to those outside the organization as well as bring cohesion, vitality and life to our overall message. Every communication from the Arkansas Alumni Association, its chapters and societies, should resound with a single, clear voice. From print to web, and letters to live presentations, each expression must bring to life our purpose and personality.
No matter how people might encounter the Arkansas Alumni Association, whether through mailings, at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House or at a chapter or society event, they should have an immediate understanding of who we are and what we stand for. This is important because the less time we spend telling people what we do, the more time we can spend connecting and serving the University of Arkansas family. The consistent use of a few type styles is one of the easiest ways to support the Association's visual identity. For this reason we’ve selected a stable of styles that are available to you within the basic Windows font library found on most computers.
Stationery, Brochures, Banners & Signs
All stationery, brochures, event banners, signs, place cards, handouts, advertise¬ments, PowerPoint presentations, and the like should follow the established guidelines for all other print and web applications.
Merchandise & Gifts
Design and production of all merchandise, gift items, giveaways and clothing items, should follow the branding guidelines and any applicable CLC guidelines. The Association logo has been designed to be easy to reproduce on any number of items.
