Barker has been name Associate Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and chief diversity officer at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT. In this role, he will collaborate with faculty, staff, build and cultivate relationships with community partners; work with the College’s Diversity Council to develop, implement, and establish metrics and benchmarks for a diversity and inclusion plan; and monitor emerging trends, practices, and research to inform the college’s ongoing work.
F. Michael (Mike) Stephenson retired in April 2016, bought a home, and returned to his home state of Indiana. Since receiving his J.D. in 1986, Mike had lived in Tennessee and Georgia before retiring.

DALLAS – Paula Turicchi has been named Chair of the Texas Women’s Health Advisory Committee, a group required by Senate Bill 200 during the 84th Legislature Session. The committee will discuss issues pertaining to women’s health programs in Texas and submit its recommendations to the Health and Human Services Commission.
“I’m honored to serve as chair of the Women’s Health Advisory Committee. This newly- appointed committee will ensure that consolidated programs will serve the health and family planning needs of women throughout the state,” said Turicchi, Administrator, Women & Infant’s Specialty Health (WISH), Parkland Health & Hospital System.
Turicchi has served in a leadership role at Parkland for more than two decades. She oversees the business operations of the largest public health maternity service line in the United States with more than 10,000 deliveries and 300,000 ambulatory visits annually accounting for 50 percent of hospital discharges. She is responsible for 180 inpatient beds, 10 community clinics, two specialty clinics, Women’s Emergency Services, a 96-bed, level III-B Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, nine obstetrical surgical suites, and 48 LDRs, with more than 13,000 procedures each year. The WISH division has over 1,200 FTEs including more than 200 midlevel providers.
