Dear Fellow Alums, Faculty, Staff and Friends of BAS,

I would like to welcome each of you to the 25th Anniversary Reunion of the Black Alumni Society. We are looking forward to seeing our fellow alums, faculty, staff and friends on “The Hill” on April 16-19, 2015. This will be a time for you to reunite and reconnect with your fellow schoolmates. While you are here, we want to “Honor Our Past While Building The Future."

This reunion will be one that you will not want to miss because we have made plans for you to experience a little of the past and a little of the future. When you attend the many events, we want you to take an active part in each festivity.

As part of the mission, we want the reunion to be the venue to promote communication and friendship amongst our members and friends by providing a forum for information exchange through organized events and other activities. As in the past, we will recognize several of our alumni by bestowing upon them the highest recognition for their services to the University and their communities.

We ask you to join us during the Reunion Awards Gala as we pay homage to our fellow alums in recognition of their accomplishments. After renewing your fellowship throughout the week, you are invited to bring the celebration to an end by attending The Historical St. James Missionary Baptist Church for a Spirit filled service that will equip you with a source of energy to carry you from “The Hill” back home safely.

May this reunion be one that you can cherish throughout the years to come.
Let’s “Honor Our Past While Building the Future."
