Mack McLarty

University of Arkansas alumnus Thomas F. “Mack” McLarty III of Little Rock will visit the university campus April 20 as the Arkansas Alumni Association’s 2017 Johnson Fellow. McLarty is chairman of McLarty Associates, an international strategic advisory firm he co-founded in 1998 following a distinguished record of business leadership and public service, including various roles advising three U.S. Presidents: Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter. He is also chairman of the McLarty Companies, a fourth-generation family transportation business. He served as the White House Chief of Staff for President Bill Clinton.

The program was created in 2009 by an endowment from Dr. Jeff Johnson, BA’70, and his wife, Marcia. The Johnson Fellow program was created for the specific purpose of bringing esteemed alumni back to the University of Arkansas campus to engage and inspire students.
