Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship
Kaplan Education Centers have teamed up with the Arkansas
Alumni Association to offer one (1) course scholarship (up to $2,299 value) each
fall and spring semester redeemable for one of the following Kaplan
courses: MCAT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, PCAT, DAT and OAT In Person, Live Online
& Self-Paced (excludes In PersonPLUS, Private Tutoring and Summer Intensive
recipients must enroll in the Kaplan Test Prep course within one year of
- Current University of Arkansas junior or senior
undergraduate students enrolled full-time (12+credit hours)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
- Plan to enroll in a Kaplan test prep course
within one year of receipt of the scholarship
- Preference will be given to
Student Alumni Association membership with demonstrated financial need
How to Apply
Prepare the following materials as
a single .pdf file:
Current resume (maximum 2 pages)
Include college involvement and leadership,
academic honors/awards/achievements, work experience and volunteer service.
Please do not include information from high school unless it is directly
related to your graduate program aspirations.
Personal Statement (maximum 800 words)
The personal statement must clearly address your
commitment to your chosen field of study and describe how the Kaplan Test Prep
Scholarship will help you achieve your professional goals. Be sure to discuss
any experiences, courses, internships, study abroad programs, research projects
or extracurricular activities directly related to your field of study that have
impacted your future plans for graduate school.
Statement of Financial Need (OPTIONAL;
maximum 1 page, double-spaced)
If the cost of the Kaplan Test Prep course is a
financial obstacle for you, please describe your current financial situation.
