The Student Alumni Association (SAA) is a student membership program established by the Arkansas Alumni Association. Created by students in 2003, this student organization is designed to inspire loyalty, preserve University of Arkansas traditions, and establish the bond between the University of Arkansas students and alumni. Student Alumni members are taught the skills and provided the opportunities to become leaders at the YOU of A. In addition, students who are members of the Student Alumni Association also receive exclusive benefits with local and online merchants including the University Bookstore & Razorback shop where they receive 5% off textbooks and 10% off Razorback merchandise. SAA Mission Statement

Student Alumni Association members will generate pride and support of the values and traditions of the University of Arkansas while fostering loyalty, commitment, lifelong relationships and communication with the University’s greatest assets, the students and alumni.

Vision Statement

The Student Alumni Association seeks to be a leading student organization committed to the support and outreach of its members, linking them to the University of Arkansas and the Arkansas Alumni Association.

Goals

The Student Alumni Association will look to meet a minimum of one of the following three goals when supporting programs and events:

        1. To preserve University of Arkansas traditions.
        2. To connect University of Arkansas students and alumni.
        3. To educate students about the Arkansas Alumni Association.

Current Student Memberships

By joining as a current student, you will receive a special annual rate. Student memberships include involvement opportunities and discounts at local and online merchants.

Current Student Life Memberships

Committing to a current student life membership means your membership will be active for a total of four years (the life of the student’s undergraduate term) and includes membership in the Student Alumni Association. You will receive full student membership perks and involvement opportunities, and you will save money.

Student Alumni Scholarship

The Student Alumni Association (S.A.A.) scholarship gets its namesake thanks to the generosity of Student Alumni members across the University of Arkansas campus. Every time a student purchases a membership for the Student Alumni Association, $2 is allocated to the S.A.A. Scholarship Fund. Click here for an application.
