Student Alumni Board
The Student Alumni Board (SAB) is the Board of Directors for the Student Alumni Association (SAA), a student membership program established by the Arkansas Alumni Association. The Board consists of seven (7) student leaders who oversee specific areas of the Student Alumni Association. The positions on the Student Alumni Association Board of Directors are as follows:
- Director of Operations
- Director of Student Education & Membership
- Director of Communications
- Director of Alumni Relations
- Director of Traditions
- Director of Senior Experience
- Director of Homecoming
These positions offer an excellent opportunity for students to further their professional development through hands-on experience with budgeting, recruitment, project management, and much more! They will also offer numerous opportunities to build lasting relationships with The Arkansas Alumni Association family!
The selection process for each Director position is competitive and occurs through an application and interview process late in the Spring semester each academic year. To be eligible for selection, students must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Current membership in the Student Alumni Association
- Must have strong positive feelings about the Student Alumni Association, Arkansas Alumni Association, and the University of Arkansas
- Be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the University of Arkansas
