Running Through the A
The University of Arkansas has a special way of welcoming its football players onto the field of every home game they play. It is called RUNNING THROUGH THE "A." The
Razorback Marching Band concludes their home pre-game performances by forming a giant "A." Then, holding formation, they march the length of the football field until the top of the "A" reaches the end zone nearest the Arkansas locker room. While the band plays on and the crowd cheers, Coach Petrino leads his players through the "A" out onto the field upholding and participating in this long-standing tradition.
