Razorbacks on Tour
Mark Twain said, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” Each year the Arkansas Alumni Association selects tours that will take our alumni and friends to places far and near, to many of the world’s most interesting, entertaining, and educational destinations.
Our 17 traditional tours for 2009 will offer the opportunity to experience countless new horizons. We begin the year aboard a six-star cruise ship, traversing one of the world’s most impressive engineering feats, and end the year shopping for Christmas gifts at famous markets. In between, alumni and friends will have the opportunity to view the horizons beyond pyramids, medieval city walls, icebergs, mosques, tulips, ancient temples, and some of the world’s tallest mountains.
Join us on an adventure to a new “view of men and things.”
We highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance.
Pricing & itinerary details: Please note that pricing is listed "approximate" until brochures are finalized. At that time, pricing will be updated on this site. Trips that include multiple accommodation availability (i.e., cruises, trains) only have the lowest category price listed until brochures are finalized, then all categories and pricing will be listed. Prices listed are "land only," and do not include airfare to/from the U.S. unless specifically stated otherwise. All our travel partners are available to make round-trip air arrangements from your home city, at an additional cost.
Dates and specific itineraries may also change. We make every effort to keep the dates originally advertised. All dates are updated when brochures are finalized. Should it be necessary to change travel dates after reservations are confirmed and deposits are made, travelers will be given the opportunity to change to the new dates or cancel their trip, without penalty.
